WATER RESOURCES
MAKCO originated in 1949 performing projects related to irrigation and water resources. The area of execution was later extended with its increasing professional expertise and in accordance with the expansion of its experience and resources to international markets.
 
One of the earliest projects included Earth works, lining of canals and concrete works for dams and irrigation channels under Indus Basin Treaty.

Terbala Dam is the world's largest earth & rock fill dam completed in 1974. MAKCO was involved in the earliest phases for 5 years. MAKCO has presence in North Africa and Europe since 1981 and was involved in a number of multimillion dollar projects in the water sector.
Few references in Libya include
Construction of water treatment plants for various organisations like Tripoli Medical Treatment Centre, Eye Hospital, Mahari Hotel, Dat-ul-Imad Business Towers and Mamoora Food Factory
Construction of overhead and under ground water tanks in Azizia Region for Public Works Department.
Maintenance of sewerage plant for Janzoor Textile Mill.
Maintenance of central water service station for Libyan Iron Steel Company
Farm Water Tanks and Structures at Tarhuna
Pumping Stations and Turn Out Head Works at Garabulli
Construction of 70,000 cubic meter regulating tank at Al Juwaibiyah for Great Man-Made River project
Provision of Technical Support Services to PCCP manufacturing Plant at barega.
Erection of potable water tanks and associated distribution and control systems at Amal, Ghani and Jofra Oilfields.
